Dr. Stuart Yoss has been practicing since 1995. Dr. Yoss completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh, earning his B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience in 1992. He went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic and has since earned numerous rehabilitative and sports injury related certifications, as well as dry needling. Dr. Yoss is also a certified ART instructor, teaching and training other practitioners. In addition to treating professional athletes from across the country, Dr. Yoss is currently the official team chiropractor for the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Bears and Bulls.

Brian J. Allen, DC, CSCS, ART

Dr. Brian Allen completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University in 2001, earning a B.S. in Kinesiology, and went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2005 at National University of Health Sciences. Dr. Allen has received additional training specific to sports injuries and functional rehabilitation, including earning distinction as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He serves as the team chiropractor for the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Blackhawks. In addition, he is the ART specialist for the Rockford IceHogs. From 2006 to 2008, Dr. Allen served as the team chiropractor for varsity sports at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Outside of the office, he enjoys roaming Downtown Chicago, where he resides, summer excursions to Michigan, and training and competing in half-Ironman triathlons.

Emma J. Minx, DC, CCSP, MS, ART

Dr. Emma Minx attended DePauw University, where she earned her B.A. in Kinesiology and Spanish. She then attended Logan University in St. Louis and she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic. While at Logan, Dr. Minx concurrently pursued her Master of Sports Science and Rehabilitation. After graduation, she obtained the distinction of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. She currently is one of the team chiropractors for the Chicago Bears.
 
Dr. Minx became a patient of chiropractic and ART after suffering from shoulder and back pain while playing high school softball. After receiving treatment, she saw her injuries disappear and her performance on the field greatly improve. Because of the care she received, she went on to have a successful collegiate career. This ultimately influenced her decision to pursue a career as a chiropractor.
 
Dr. Minx prides herself on understanding the biomechanics and injuries specific to many sports and activities. As a former high school and collegiate athlete and suffering several sports related injuries, she understands the importance of returning to play as quickly as possible. Her goal is to relieve the pain but also identify and treat the cause of the injury. She is certified in multiple soft tissue techniques - Active Release Techniques, RockTape, Fascial Distortion Model and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization - which she feels is key to healing injuries more quickly.
 
Dr. Minx is a North Shore native. Growing up, she played travel softball for the Illinois Chill and Oak Park Huskies organizations. She attended Glenbrook North High School and now treats their current athletes. Today, when she is not working, she enjoys staying active and doing Crossfit.

Michael Meersman, DC, MS, ART

Dr. Meersman is a board certified Doctor of Chiropractic. He is a graduate of Logan University in St. Louis, MO, where he concurrently obtained a Masters of Sports Science & Rehabilitation.
 
Dr. Meersman focuses on the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, getting patients out of pain and back in control of their own health. He believes patients deserve to be able to move well and pain-free and that chiropractic care is the first step in the process. He is full-body certified in Active Release Techniques (ART), a soft tissue technique designed to decrease muscle pain and tightness, while increasing range of motion and function. Dr. Meersman has attended numerous seminars focused on manual therapy and functional rehabilitation, utilizing the best from each of them to incorporate in his treatment approach.

Dr. Meersman is currently one of the official team chiropractic physicians for the Chicago Bears. He also works with the athletic training staff at Glenbrook North High School, helping to assess and treat athletes in all sports.
 
Dr. Meersman was born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago. Prior to chiropractic school, he graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, IA with a degree in Sports Science. While at Loras, he was a member of the track and field team and was a three time all-conference in javelin. He utilized chiropractic care as an athlete during high school and college, allowing him to perform at his best and remain injury free.

Laura Kaeske Nieder, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Laura Kaeske Nieder graduated cum laude from the National College of Chiropractic in 1995. For 20 years she has been helping her patients achieve wellness through muscle massage and correcting spinal alignment with diversified techniques. She became a chiropractor after she was successfully treated for headaches following a ski accident as a teenager. Dr. Kaeske Nieder will work with you to find the cause of your symptoms. She is an in network provider for BCBS,  Aetna, UHC and Medicare.
